So Mayo, how has your W.W. D.C. 2024 week been. Yeah, that's pretty good. Pretty good. Been watching some developer sessions. The keynote was like good announcements. The format was interesting.

0:13.5

Yeah, let's start with the format.

0:15.1

Yeah, we basically kicked off and Tim Cook said we're going to go through all of our

0:19.2

operating system updates, the platform changes, and then we're going to talk about intelligence.

0:25.3

So it sort of set the stage for, for the first hour, we're going to be, it's going to be basically

0:31.1

the same W.W. D.C. we've always had. But then for the second 45 minutes,

0:36.4

we're finally going to tell you what Apple Intelligence is. And I think this format kind of threw

0:42.1

me off because sprinkled throughout like that first half of the keynote.

0:47.0

There were still a lot of features that could have been considered, AI could have been considered Apple Intelligence.

0:52.0

But Apple referenced those features as

0:54.4

machine learning and for the first hour didn't mention AI at all. They didn't pull out

1:00.5

some of the things they could have done.

1:03.0

Like the big one that stuck out was like safari, right?

1:06.0

Yeah, yeah.

1:08.0

They talked about the new safari reader experience with the summaries and stuff.

1:11.0

And it's like...

1:12.0

I don't think that is that an

1:15.4

intelligence feature I don't even know like but it felt weird that they were

1:18.4

talking about it and they had the the maths note stuff right for the notes which

1:22.3

obviously yeah a load of machine learning but

1:25.0

because they at the beginning front run Winger talk about intelligence layer but then

1:29.3

they like showed some pretty blatant features that were you know powered in some regard, but they just wouldn't say it.
