I welcome my colleagues,

the Sain O'Connor, former ambassador from Pakistan to the United States,

now at the Hudson Institute,

and Bill Rajo, a senior fellow foundation for the Defense of Democracy,

keeping the Long War Journal,

we turn to what we know and what is anticipated in the conversations, exchanges,

negotiations between Washington's Trump administration and the regime of the Islamic Republic in Tehran.

What we know is it must begin with the conversation between Mr. Netanyahu and Mr. Trump in the Oval Office some two weeks past,

in which we were told subsequently, Iran was discussed, so was Gaza, so was the war in the Middle East. But there was the observation that Mr. Netanyahu represented a hawkish position about what is to be done about the suspect

nuclear weapons program in Iran. And Mr. Trump's position represented, not quoted, saying not yet or not now or no, that's not the way

we're going, we're going to negotiate. Since then, we've had a meeting in Oman, a very significant

meeting in that it was on neutral ground. Oman neighbors, Yemen. It also is on the Gulf corner opposite Iran and is presenting itself
