Let's talk Peter, shall we, about the front page of the sun, which is day two of Harry

Cole's exposure of all the sort of ridiculous amounts of money that are handed out for various

different projects around the world. These are more at home today. Yesterday we had 15 billion

pounds worth of stuff that was going to places like the Congo in Iraq. Today we've got

eight billion pounds a year earmarked for UK research and innovation grants. This is the UKRI,

which I must confess I didn't know anything about.

But amongst the things that they're giving away, the University of Exeter was awarded 247,000 quid for a project on queer nature's animals, environment and modern sexual knowledge production.

The UKRI also funds private sector research software firm Clucivity,

$214,000 quid to them for AI robots to help make companies more accessible to non-binary

and LGBT plus minorities. This is a joke, isn't it?

Elon, do you fancy popping over and having a look at our wastage?

I mean, for God's sake.

But yet again, this is the Donald Trump effect.

Yeah.

Because he's come in, him and his administration are going,

let's look at the nonsense expenditure.

Let's cut waste.

Let's do it.
