Hello and welcome to another episode of Calling Peston, the best way to while away the hours while queuing up to vote in the Houses of Parliament.

Yes, MPs are back in Westminster, no more virtual voting on their mobile phones. Instead, they've been placed in a queue, a very long one.

Images this week showed MPs voting in person again but forced to snake around the corridors

of power two meters apart for an hour and 20 minutes to avoid packing into the voting

lobbies. The brainchild of Jacob Rees-Mogg, the leader of the House of Commons, who was

clearly inspired by his favourite furniture brand, IKEA,

as customers lined up for hours this week at newly reopened stores to finally get their hands on the flat-pack furniture, they've been denied for the past two months.

Jacob, among them, no doubt.

Yeah, it was odd. I was telling Lewis, and I said this on the podcast, that it's really stressful

writing those openings, and trying summarize everything in an engaging and entertaining way.

So I don't envy you doing that every week.

But I think we did an all right job.

Me and Lewis had good fun.
