are talking about the Antichrist nowadays. The topic is kind of gaining momentum in our culture.

In some ways, it's become an obsession. As far as my research indicates, the first treatment in fiction in the modern

era of the Antichrist was published in 1900 in Russia by the great Russian Orthodox Catholic

convert, Latimer Soloveev. He wrote a really interesting short story that I think would make a

great movie. It's called A Story of the Antichrist, came out in the year 100. And I want to take you down a rabbit hole,

but a rabbit hole that gets lighter and lighter, not darker and darker. I know the subject

matter is a little bit heavy. You think Antichrist, you think evil and darkness and doom and

gloom and the end of the world and all things horrible.

But the story ends well.

That's the bottom line.

So I want to talk about the political and cultural context of the last generation and present some reasons why people are now more interested in the

antichrist than before now after soloviev's story came out in the year 1900
