And the Before I want to introduce this week's returning guest, I want to give you a bit of a background on this episode and how it's been a long time coming.

A long time listeners will be aware that I've been endlessly fascinated by how and why, I suppose you could say the online right gets

And last year, almost a year ago,

so in June of last year,

we were driving back from the top of Tasmania,

back to the farm, and I was listening to Jordan Peterson talked to James Lindsay

about this exact topic and I kept having to pull over and make notes on my phone because I had found it.

I had found where the error had crept into their thinking that would make them believe that let's say the Gnostics were the bad guys.

And I thought oh this would be simple I'll just cut the bits out of the the podcast that I want and throw this together and it will be fine but then I went traveling again and

honestly the other thing that kept happening was the world kept getting more awful

and so there were things because what I want to do with this episode is keep the conversation above the belt keep the conversation at the level of ideas and And that's all well and good, except what kept happening in the world.

I mean, this is the middle of last year, so Jordan Peterson mentions

still an onylvani at one point.

But then, of course, we had his reaction and indeed recently the last couple of days

the Daily Wire when it comes to what's going on in Gaza and and so every time I'd get ready to do this episode, something would happen where I just go,

ah, I just can't.

And fast forward to, I suppose about a month ago, finishing up the the prayer course for the members
