He is Josh Hammer. Among other things, Josh Hammer is the senior editor at large at Newsweek. He is a columnist. He is a host in his own right. His brand new book out this week, Israel and civilization, the fate the Jewish Nation, and the destiny of the West.

Congrats on the book, Josh. I think it's the book that if Winston Churchill were alive today,

given everything going on, that he would have written. Really well done, sir.

Seth, I deeply appreciate that, and it's really

wonderful to join you, as always. I happen to agree about Churchill, by the way. You know,

he, Churchill, I recently came across this. It was maybe just a couple months ago. He had a wonderful

essay, Seth. I'm not sure if you've, if you've ever come across it. It's a fairly obscure essay.

He wrote it well before World War II

about the political leadership of Moses, of Moses actually in the Torah and the Old Testament there.

And it really is on that Churchillian note that I kind of decided to write this book. So it's been a real

success thus far. Praise God. and let's try and keep going.

Rather than ask you the standard question, why did you write this book, let me ask you about

the topic of the book, and then I want to get into the underlying Churchillian-Hammarian

political philosophy in it.

But the question I want to ask you, I think, is this. A friend of mine asked me it this morning. I thought it'd be perfect for you. It's this. Israel is a relatively small country. I mean, it's a very small country with a relatively small population. Why is it so much always very much in the news and having endless numbers of

things written about it? What about the small country has it punching so far above its weight

in the coverage and controversies that it brings on? Well, there's a lot of them, Pat, there,
