This is a very good day, not just for the United States, but of course for all those hostage families that have been living with such uncertainty and fear and anxiety.

White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby, as Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire,

it'll be implemented in three phases, the first this Sunday, when some hostages will be released.

Kirby says those will include the most vulnerable, including women and those that are injured,

and it will include a six-week pause in fighting.

So the bombing will stop, the fighting will stop, and that will bring an amazing

amount of relief to the people of Gaza who continue to fall victim to the conflict itself.

Phase two is set to begin 16 days later. That would include the release of the remaining hostages.

Phase three calls for the return of the bodies of the remaining hostages and a reconstruction of

Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, though, says the ceasefire agreement is not complete

and final details need to be worked out. More confirmation hearings today for President

like Trump's cabinet picks, including Pam Bondi, his choice for attorney general. She appeared

before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Of course we care about our economy and what's happening in this world.

But if we're not safe, none of that works.

We have got to come together.

We have got to work together to make America safe again.

Democrats, including California's Adam Schiff, questioned whether Bondi would prosecute people for political purposes and whether she would be willing to go against Trump's wishes.
