1:29.0 | which eventually makes it to the Suets Canal because it connects the Gulf of Suets with the Mediterranean. |
1:36.0 | So, we're talking about two fingers that coming out of a long stretch known as the Red Sea that eventually gets down to Yemen, Somalia and to the Indian Ocean. |
1:48.0 | And the Red Sea, for the most part we believe is called the Red Sea because of the reflection of the red mountains on the waters of the sea, especially in the late afternoon. |
2:01.0 | These mountains are called the mountains of Idom in the Hebrew language, Idom, Adom, Red, red colored mountains. |
2:11.0 | And that may be the explanation for why we call it the Red Sea also. |
2:15.0 | Of course, we have also the other name of the sea known as the Sea of Reeds. |
