Our guest is a returning friend of the podcast, Drew Burquist. Now, for those those who don't remember him Drew has his own show which is called this is my show with Drew Burquist so that kind of gets to the point and he's done all kinds of stuff in the media.

But the big thing was, Drew was a counter-terrorism officer

for the United States intelligence community,

which is almost an oxymoron these days.

Not attacking you Drew, where he performed more than 30 deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan to conduct intelligence operations against the Taliban, al-Qaeda, and more recently ISIS.

Drew also serves as the national spokesperson for the mammoth nation, routinely comments on national security.

He, by the way, as I just told you, has his own show out and he has his own book out called the Maverick Experiment. So folks if you go to the show notes for today's show you'll find links to his show and social media and to the books.

Now before we get started, I want to let everybody know about something coming up.

We are doing something on the streets of Cincinnati on September 28th.

So downtown Cincinnati on the streets, the streets of Cincinnati will be closed and the event will be the Kroger Health Festival.

So there will be booths and samples. I mean you can walk people show up there by the way so you know this man people show up with their

wagons because they can carry so much free stuff but the show so Saturday at 11 o'clock on there's several stages on one of the stages and I don't know the actual stage at the moment

We will be conducting we will be going after a Guinness world record the Guinness people will be on site and we are going to try to break the world record for training the most number of people in the correct use of Narcan,

which is Narlexone, which is the drug that you use to bring people back from an opioid overdose.

Now as it happens, this is in Cincinnati, if you're in the Cincinnati area,

Northern Kentucky and the Kentucky area is actually one of the biggest hot spots for OD. So we're kind of right in the bed of it there. So if you want to be a part of a Guinness world record, come down, meet us Saturday, 11 o'clock on the 28th downtown Cincinnati.
