Hello and welcome to the Sophie Ridge on Sunday podcast. Today on the program, we were joined by

the Shadow Business Secretary Rebecca Long

Bailey to talk climate change and a bit of Brexit. And we were also joined by the deputy chair

of the Conservative Party, Helen Waitley.

Now, it's a bit of a different podcast today because for once, after months of talking about whether or not we should go for Norway, Norway Plus or Norway for now, or the merits of the customs union and the Irish backstop, we're taking a slight breather from Brexit.

Now, I can't promise you that Brexit won't come up in the podcast. I'm sure it probably will at some point.

But we will be talking about other things as well, the environment, the local elections that are looming next week, for example.
