Why is church after church succumbing to corruption and false doctrine?

Yes, it's a result of greed, immorality, and a lust for power, but we've had those vices forever.

So why is there an epidemic of corruption in the church now?

Welcome to the Roy's Report, a podcast dedicated to reporting the truth and

restoring the church. I'm Julie Roy's. And those of you over 40 may remember Bill Clinton's

first presidential campaign. The country was reeling from a recession. And while Clinton's challenger,

the elder George Bush, was focused on social issues. Clinton won the election with the

motto, it's the economy, stupid. Well, in the talk you're about to hear, Lance Ford answers the question of

why we're seeing so much corruption in the church today with a riff on that old motto. He says,

it's the system, stupid. Lance is talking about the system of leadership that's been

imported into the church from corporate America. It's been wholesale embraced by Christians,

but there's nothing biblical about it. It's what Jesus called the way of the Gentiles,

and it's producing exactly what it was designed to produce, power, abuse, and corruption.

And unless we start to dismantle this worldly system and replace it with a godly one, we're going to continue getting abysmal results.

This was one of my favorite talks from our restore conference, because when I heard it,

a light bulb went on. Truly, this talk was like one big aha moment for me. And I'm so excited to share it

with you. I'm also excited to announce that Lance is the newest addition to our board here at the
