Thank you for having me, Gordon. Things are pretty darn good. Some readers will know that we've just taken David Rankin on board as editor.

We are ushering in the last of Jake's contracted texts. We do have some that we'd like to publish but we have to see.

And we've opened a bookshop so that's going quite well and yeah things are

cheery and happy over here in adian land lovely well let's talk about the

legendary mr Rankin first because we were just chatting about that before hitting record.

So David, you announced in the spring newsletter which came out a couple of days ago at the time of recording that

he's joining his editor.

Like, I think that's an excellent choice well done talk me through what we've got plan for that

well I like to keep the schedule full a year in advance

it's now almost full through the end of 2025. So with all the business of running the business. My time for editing gets farther and farther away so I thought well I need someone to come on and

not only edit some stuff but oversee the editing thing because I still use my freelancers Brian Johnson and

Matt Morash they will always be useful to Hain. But he you know David will help just manage the text because there's so many of them.

Yeah, I mean I think it's it's a great choice to have someone with that kind of eye, always to have, you know,

extra hands in the business, but a great choice to have someone with that kind of eye.

He's got a lot of publishing experience.

I think he worked for Scoop books.

He worked with Stephen Skinner with Golden Horde,

Avalonia, of course.

You know, we all know him as a writer,

but his knowledge of occult publishing
