Jamila Jamila with us. You know her from the good place. You know her from her activism. You know her from her

Twitter account. You know that she's incredible. We had such great conversation about body positivity,

her dealing with the world in general. Also, she had kidney stones the whole time that she was here and

she's such a goddamn champion. It was so lovely having her enjoy this episode of Not Too Deep.

What's your meal? Jamila Jamila.

Well, thank you for being here. Thank you for having me. I've missed all of the adversity that is

constantly trying to co-bash this. I'm curious in talking about Twitter. You have an interesting

relationship with it. Oh, we're going straight in with Twitter. Well, no, no, no.

I have such a strange relationship with it. I do too. And I phone off from using Twitter so much

in the last like year or so because it, but I still look at it constantly. I still look at it for

information. I look at it for news. But I'm very impressed by your ability to be so candid on Twitter.

And I wonder how that's changed or grown in the last like few months or a year.

I don't know. I don't think I have grown. I think I just look, I have mixed results on Twitter.

Overwhelmingly, I think it's been a positive impact I've had. And you've got to admit, there's

way less diet teas and shit detox. You're doing it. Be in salt.

It's on social media. It's great. It's great.

I've stopped peddling laxatives to us as much. I've made it globally embarrassing.

But I, okay, talk me through that moment of you deciding that you're actually going to post

something against this kind of wave of, you know, superficial products being pushed on everyone.

I started like eight years ago when I got fat-shamed back in England. So it was a beer TV host there.

Yeah. And so I was currently on the radio at the time and people became obsessed with my weight.
