My brother, he just does not not contact us. That's not how he is. He's very family oriented.

I have messages, text, Facebook comments. At least once a week, once every two weeks.

My sister would get phone calls. I would get phone calls. And there's not been anything for over a year.

We just know he's no longer with us. We went through too much as kids. We're too bonded, we're too close.

For him to not ever reach out to us when he knows we're worried about him.

She was cleaning up out there and that's when she found the piece of flesh. And she said it looked gray.

And she knows what animal flesh looks like because they hunt. She said when she saw it, all she could think of was this is human.

She put that to the side and also found it wrapped up in newspaper, a nipple, and a finger, part of a finger.

And she said at that point she got physically ill.

In early June of 2021, 47-year-old Jamie Valdez and his wife Anna had just moved to Boonville, Arkansas from Texas.

Their relationship was on the rocks and Jamie's wife settled on June 9, 2021.

Jamie left their home. An old coworker of Jamie's reported that several days later, she ran into him in the town of Ozark, which is about 30 miles north of Boonville.

The coworker invited him over for dinner with her family and indicated that Jamie was planning to go back to Boonville to patch things up with his wife.

But Jamie Valdez has never been seen again. And his disappearance is filled with many gaps in time, strange coincidences, conflicting stories, and lapses in memory that have turned the search for him into a bizarre obstacle course, with very few concrete facts.
