I'm Faith Moore, and this season we're reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

Each episode, I'll read one chapter from the book,

pausing from time to time to give brief explanations so it's easier to follow along.

So brew a pot of tea, find a cozy chair,

and settle in. It's so good to be here with you again. I, you know, to be honest, I didn't know what it was going to be like to start this podcast. I've never had a

podcast before, and this is a kind of quirky one. But I

have, I love this, and I love it because of all of the messages that I'm getting from you and all

of the ways that we're interacting, even though I'm actually just here in my little room talking

to myself, into this microphone, but then the episodes go out into the world and then I

hear back from you and it's the loveliest thing. So thank you. Thank you for being here and

thank you for contacting me and writing those reviews and doing those ratings and all of those

ways that I'm hearing back from you and you're hearing from me and it's becoming a conversation and that

is more than I could ever have hoped for this. So thank you. Thank you for being here. And if you
