Welcome back to another episode of Industry Standard with me, Barry Katz, World Wind Trip Montreal.

It is 11.30 a.m. in the morning on Saturday here at the Just for Laughs Festival, and it's hard to believe that I am up and alive.

And my guest today, J.B. Spoovin, his manager, Rick Dortman, are here in this room at the Hyatt Hotel.

Let me tell you something.

You know that kind of hotel that you just walk into when the room smells like something happened here that was cleaned up. Maybe there

was a murder. They did some kind of industrial cleaning. You open the door and it smells like

cover up of death. I don't know what it is. It just, it smells like there was some kind of caution

tape in here at some point

in time, but that's okay. As J.B. Smooth walks in this room, he realizes his life as a comedian

is better than my life, which is really, really obvious when you look at this room here.

It's pretty sad, but it's okay. All you need is a room and a dollar
