he was culture secretary between 2010 and 2012, which is of course when London hosted the Olympics.

He then went on to become health secretary and actually became the longest ever serving health secretary and declined moving to the business brief at the beginning of 2018, which was an interesting move at that point.

He then also went on to become foreign secretary when Boris Johnson resigned and was also of course made chancellor of the exchequer

under Liz Truss but was then kept on by Rishi Sunak as well. So it's a fascinating career. He was
