I'm the host Scott Feinberg and my guest today is Jerry Seinfeld, one of the greatest

comedians of all time, the co-creator, co-writer, and star of the legendary 1990s

NBC comedy series that bears his name, and most recently the creator and

host of the Crackle Web Series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which is nominated this year for the Emmy for Best

Variety Talk Series.

Over the course of our conversation in a downtown New York apartment where Seinfeld sometimes works, the 62 year old opens up about a host of topics.

What true him to comedy in the first place?

How he arrived at the style of stand-up that he employs to this day and how Stand-Up eventually

paved the way for the sitcoms Seinfeld.

How he and Larry David first crossed paths, developed what he does not regard as a show about

nothing, and implemented rules for themselves that resulted in a program

unlike any other before it. What it was like after Seinfeld ended and what he

learned from some of his stumbles that followed such as the animated film B

movie and the reality show The Marriage Ref, which, believe it or not, helped to inspire
