Plo Shea. So I'm just going to get to it tonight. I know that we have had the conversation many many many times of what we would do if something happened to one of our kids.

I know that all of our listeners who have friends or loved ones

have had this conversation.

I have had the conversation with my husband

where I said that if anything ever happens

to one of our kids, it'll be a race between me and law enforcement

because I'm going to track them down first.

And all my logic would be gone, like all of any rationality I think would be gone. We talk

during your episode about comments that your dad made and I always say rightfully

so because I can't imagine having to be in that position as a parent, family member, you know.

And having to like, unfortunately, I think doing a podcast like this, it's honestly, I have the opposite effect of what I should think and believe, because I, like you have to sit around in situations like that that you have to sit around and hope that there's enough evidence hope that there's no reasonable doubt for this person to be put away and to have trust in the justice system to work in the way that it was supposed to and designed to because we have seen far too many times.

You know it doesn't always, yeah.

Exactly. The bad people get away with bad things sometimes and I don't know that as a parent I would be able to trust the system to work when it came to something involving my kids.

I don't think I'm a big enough person to do something like like to just

be like okay we'll let the justice system hit. I don't think I could.

Well I will maybe it won't so maybe I handle it a little bit and I will and I will die on this hill, but that I know you're gonna like, I'm

gonna have a message from some Karen, not St Karen, but but not a St. Karen.

Not St. Karen, is going to message me and be like,

well, you can't encourage violence.

Like, what kind of message is that sending?

But I'm telling you you I think the national law should be if there is a crime committed against a child that the parents get five minutes.
