I went into this thinking I was going to be defending Joel Osteen actually a lot more than I am.

I'm trying to give a fair analysis of a typical sermon from Joel Osteen,

evaluating his use of scripture, listening to his points,

considering them against Christian theology, but it's like way worse than I thought.

Okay, pause. Real quick, let me just tell you guys what this video is,

because I posted a video that was really long. It was a full analysis of an entire Joel Osteen sermon,

but Joel Osteen had that video removed from the internet.

And long story short, it stayed down, but I have pulled together clips from that video that I don't

think they'll be able to remove. And that's this video right here. That's today's video.

This specifically is how Joel Osteen handles scripture. So I took an entire Joel Osteen sermon,

and I just analyzed his use of scripture in today's pieces of a Joel Osteen analysis video.

But you'll want to stick around to the end probably because I'm also going to talk about

how he actually does this sort of repentance prayer that a lot of Christians like at the end of his

video, as well as his money ask, because Joel Osteen tells everybody he doesn't ask for money.

But they do. It's misleading the way that they've done it. So this, however, is not meant to be

like a hit piece. Rather, this is all about discernment. It's all about understanding what's

really going on. So here you go. This sermon's called Let It Go, and I don't think it's meant to

invoke visions of the frozen song, although that will be in your head by the end of all this.

I'm not, I'm not witch hunting. I'm not looking for things to complain about, but they will
