Now, we've known each other for creeping up on 25 years now.

I met him in 1997 when I first crossed the quarter deck at SEAL Team 5,

where he was a diver attached to that command.

He spent 20 years in the United States Navy, most of that time attached to Naval Special Warfare.

He then went to our Cold Weather Warfare training facility in Kodiak, Alaska,

where he helped develop a lot of the gear and tactics that are still used today.

He is now the big game product manager at SITTA Gear,

which fires me up because I've known Jonathan Hard who started SITTA since we were 13 years old,

to see that company go from inception to where it is today is absolutely fantastic.

And to have John Barclow there attached is Man, that's just awesome.

did you grow up doing all this awesome stuff?

I don't think I've ever asked you that before.

You just kind of, you know, I showed up as a new guy at SEAL Team 5,

and you're there, and you're already awesome.
