Episode 242 - Seemingly coming out of nowhere, California's Point North has made a massive splash in the last couple years with their own brand of Pop-Punk, releasing EP's and singles, and doing tours with some of the biggest bands in the scene. But singer Jon Lundin has been at it for nearly a decade behind the scenes, working as an engineer and producer, and also a songwriter. Now, at age 29, Jon has released Point North's first full length "Brand New Vision" to a lot of hype. 1:01.0	And you know it's been a weird year, but there has been some really great records that have come out during this pandemic.
1:09.0	Maybe because there's not so much going on, I've listened to them more than usual which is
1:13.8	great I don't know but point north put out a banger of an album just a few weeks
1:19.8	ago it's called brand New Vision. If you like the poppy side of pop punk, this album is especially
1:29.9	for you. And Point North has been making waves since they drop.
1:34.6	They start dropping EPs and singles.

1:41.0	And I talked to John all about that. We'll get into that in just a minute.
