So in the early 1800s, a young man in New York reported receiving divine revelations

that directed him to translate a new book of scripture.

Joseph Smith soon gained a reputation as a seer

and as the founding prophet of the Mormon religion. Today, his revelations and prophecies

influence the faith lives of millions of people. So whatever it is, they're concerning his role as a
