With the Bundesliga playing its first round of matches in ten weeks, and the Premier League refining the details of ‘Project Restart’, we discuss the significant differences from normality on today’s episode of Jules & Andy. Cologne-based journalist Archie Rhind-Tutt joins us to reveal what it was like to report from Eintracht Frankfurt, as press access was restricted and social distancing rules were firmly applied.
We then turn our attentions to the Premier League, as clubs unanimously decided to allow individual training to resume this week. We discuss the effect this will have on the players and wonder how much lead time they will really need before full matches can be played, which look to be a possibility at some point in June.
