Hello and welcome to the Explorers podcast. Today we continue with the story of French Exploraules Dumont de Ville.

So a few days ago I received an email from Ubert Sanier, the man behind the daring French explorations

book.

Sanier is currently traveling around the world and was in New Ireland, which is an island just north of New Guinea.

One of the reasons he is there is to simply raise awareness to the needs of people in these places and to bring supplies and support to their communities.

Before retiring, Sanier worked in the eyeglass industry so he brings lots of glasses to places that don't have access to them.
