In this episode I'm going to be talking with Kiran LeGrice

about the concept of synchronicity as formulated by Carl Young

and its use in modern times as an explanatory principle for astrology.

Hi, Kiran, welcome the show.

Hello, Chris, thank you for inviting me.

It's a pleasure to be here.

Yeah, I'm excited to have this conversation with you because I you are

the one of the co-authors of the recent book Young on Astrology which was the subject of an

episode with your co-author in January and I had a great

discussion with Safran Rossi about that book but I wanted to have you on in order

to talk about one of your major contributions to that book,

which was a major piece where you wrote an introduction to the section dealing with Young's views on astrology, where you did a really good job of breaking down his views on that topic and so I thought that would be a good subject for our discussion today.

Yeah, great. I mean the the way Saffron and I approached the project, we edited the book, co-edited.

So it's mainly young, as you will have heard from Saffron, mainly Young's own writing and then we did

introductions to the four main sections of the book and part four as you said

was covers Young's various explanations of astrology, his attempts to understand how astrology works.
