Today, we are going to be discussing the fantastically freakish case of the Sandown Clown. Yes, you heard me right, clown, or ghost, or Spaceman, or, you know, whatever he actually was, he called himself Sam. So, one Tuesday afternoon in May of 1973, a seven-year-old girl pseudonymous would refer to as Faye.

Yes, they literally chose probably one of the most perfect names you could possibly choose for anyone involved in something really truly bizarre happening, especially on the Isle of White.

But anyway, a young girl, Sudonisably referred to as Faye, and an unnamed boy of about the same age,

were walking near Lake Common in Sandown on the Isle of White, England.

When they heard this strange noise, they compared to an ambulance siren or an odd wailing.

More curious than cautious, they decided to follow the noise,

across a gulf course and through a hedge, into a swampy meadow near the Sandown Airport.

When they hit the meadow, the noise stopped. So at this point, they were actually crossing a little wooden footbridge,

which spanned a creek, when a hand in a blue glove popped out from under the bridge, followed by a

truly odd creature. And when I say truly odd, I mean strap on your seatbelts, because it was truly odd. They described the creature. And when I say truly odd, I mean strap on your seatbelts because it was

as standing about seven feet tall and had, much like many hairy humanoid reports, no discernible

neck, rather the head sat firmly in the shoulders. However, unlike most hairy humanoid reports, this thing was not,

in fact, covered in hair, but in addition to the blue gloves, had a truly bizarre get-up.

It wore white pants, a green tunic with a red collar, and a yellow pointed hood, which

connected to the collar. It had only three fingers on each blue-loved hand and three toes on its bare feet.

And, you know, I wish I could tell you that its face was really, you know, kind of non-script,

nothing to write home about, but actually that too was something to see. From the illustration
