What's up? Welcome back to Barton and Bud. I'm Barton Simmons along with Bud Elliot's. It is Sunday evening, as it always is when we record this pod, you're probably listening to a

Monday morning or sometime thereafter. And we are, the dust is settled on the Big Ten's first

weekend of college football. And obviously there's a lot of football over the weekend, bud. But

the most important football is the

Big Ten football because this was our first opportunity to shake hands and meet this new

crop of folks coming to our party, our college football party. And so, you know what? We're going to

have some fun with that. And we'll talk about

some of the other games and some of our other impressions around the country where maybe our

opinions have changed based on the weekend's results. But, Bud, I think the most pressing

order of business is to dig into the first impressions of new kids at the party.

I'm there with you.

I'm down to talk about all these teams except Iowa Purdue.

I didn't watch that game.

I really don't have any new opinions about that game.

And I judge them from the result there, they're probably both just solid, you know, middle of the

wet or middle of the pack West teams, I would, I would think. But I kind of want to start up front

with Nebraska, man. Like, I thought Nebraska played a style against Ohio State that never really,

like, I never thought they were actually really in the game to win the game

because they were playing super conservative on defense

and they weren't allowing the huge explosive play to the Buckeyes.

And I think Nebraska lacks defensive speed,

so they're probably smart to play a lot of, you know,
