Christian stewardship begins with the correct understanding that everything we have belongs to the Lord.

Stewardship, then, is not just a focus on money or material things, but also encompasses every spiritual blessing. In this study, making the most of all God

has given, Scott Pauley teaches biblical principles for Christian stewardship. One day, we will meet God

and give an account of how we have handled all of the resources he has put in our hands. Let's listen intently to learn how God expects us to steward his resources.

We return one final time today to 1 Corinthians chapter number four.

This is not the end of our study on Christian stewardship, but it is the final

principle we find in this particular chapter, and I think a most appropriate one. We have learned

so many things about how the Lord designed for us to make the most of everything that he gives to us.

We've learned something about God's work behind the scenes.

We've learned something about doing it for the Lord and not man,

living by faith and not by what we see.

We're reminded in our last study that it costs to be a faithful steward,

but it always pays in the end.

Today, I bring you to the closing verses of 1 Corinthians

chapter 4. Let me read just a little bit beginning in verse number 15. For though you have

10,000 instructors in Christ, yet have you not many fathers. Let me pause and just say, we're

living that dream right now because we're in a world where there are lots of

instructors, there are lots of teachers, there are lots of talking heads, some saying the right

thing, some not. But Paul points out there's a difference between an instructor and a father.

There's a difference between somebody who gives you a lesson or a lecture and someone who gives

you their life.

He said, I've been a spiritual father to you.
