This is Jay Brown Yoga Talks podcast. My name is Jay Brown. Thank you for being here. If you're new, welcome. And everyone

else, what's going on? I know things have been a little crazy over the last few weeks. I stepped on a

political landmine. And there's still a lot to be unpacked,

and I'm still working to see what I can do to make things better.

But it's really got me thinking about our politics in general, and how dysfunctional they really are.

I stumbled into this weird looking glass of how much our politics divides us and conquers us.

And I just think that it is a distraction from what I don't want to face, which is the continued

uncertainty and strain of this fucking pandemic.

I just, I don't know about anybody else.

I think what happened is I have an old friend of mine

who I haven't seen in many, many years,

and we'd been in touch, we used to play music together in college.

And he texted me, and he said that in like a couple of weeks,

he was actually going to be driving through Pennsylvania

and maybe he would stop by.

And I was like immediately excited to see this old friend of mine.

And then immediately there's just a

swarm of questions, right? Oh, is it okay for him to come over? Do we stay outside? Do we wear

masks? It's the whole and just realizing nobody's stopped over for well over a year. Nobody's come over.

You know, just the dawning reality of how long this has been.

And I still really don't know when it, like, feels like it's going to be okay to like,
