It turns out the governor has a problem with the IEDC too.

Ah, yes, he did announce plans for an independent audit of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

He wants to increase transparency and protect taxpayers. I love this for us.

Oh, well, kudos to the governor. I mean, after basically sticking it to the taxpayers,

now he's interested in our protection. So as Bruce Willis says in die hard, welcome to the party, pal.

All right, let's talk about this and why it matters. Yeah. First of all, the IADC, let's explain to

everybody what they are and why this is a giant

crock of crap.

And not only should the thing be audited, it should be thrown out the window.

Okay.

So the IEDC, as you said, is the Indiana economic development is a commission corporation.

I think it's corporation.

Corporation, right?

And they were set up under Mitch Daniels, and they had some very sort of basic

small parameters. And their primary job was their job was to attract business development,

economic development, to the state of Indiana. It was very like most things under Mitch Daniels, it was very targeted.

It was well intended.

But just like everything else in government, it just grows into some sort of un, it is Dr.

Frankenstein.

It is the monster.

You cannot contain it.
