And this person told me, they said, you can be a pundant or you can be a politician.

Correct.

You cannot be both.

A pundant and a politician.

And whichever one you pick, you'll be very good at but you have to

pick one correct and this came to me at a time where I was considering uh running for state senate

but I also had an opportunity to go back to radio and I was weighing what I wanted to do and I thought

well was there would there be a way?

Would there be a world where I could do both of these things?

And this person gave me that piece of advice because they said the jobs require two

different attitudes and two different ways of dealing with people and two different ways

of getting a desired outcome.

And that has stayed with me for years and I have watched politicians, especially in the new

social media era that we live in, who have tried,

who do not understand that and have tried to do both of these things at the same time,

and it never works out well for them.
