Our first contestant is a comedian and writer in his book, Good Game, No Rematch, is out by the time you're reading this, reading this, hearing this.

in the same way as reading. It's Mike Drucker. Mike, welcome. Thank you so much for having me.

This is my voice, everybody. When you hear this, it's me. Yep, that's Mike Drucker for you.

How are you livid? I'm good. I'm good. You know, I'm excited for this book to come out and then be scared that I

don't have anything coming out after that. Yeah, oh boy, that's a feeling. Tell me about the book.

So it's a book of, it's a book of comedy essays, uh, basically about me growing up with video games.

I kind of, I was trying to think of a book during the writer

strike back in 2023, and I was looking at things like, you know, Pat and Oswald Silver

Screen Feend or a ton of people have done books like this about music, and I realize that

not a lot of people have done like a funny book about how video games have touched their life.

There's a lot of great history books, and there's amazing coffee table books, but there isn't sort of like something that's like, hey, this art form

really influences us and changes how we see the world. And so I wanted to write basically that.

It was either that or do a one-man show, and I did not have the energy for a one-man show.

And honestly, the world thanks you. I mean, not that I wouldn't want to see a mic truck or one-man show. And honestly, the world thanks you. I mean, not that I wouldn't want to see a Mike Drucker one man show. You're on the short list of people. You're on the short list of people

I'd like to see one from. And in fact, you both are, but it's a short list, y'all. Yeah. It's a short list.
