A very good time to catch Ben, as he's been on a whirlwind promo run for Bob Marley: One Love of late - but this is someone who would have been a Distraction Pieces guest soon enough, whatever the weather... Don't let the low-key tea-drinking nature fool you for a second, this is a busy person who has been grinding for a minute. The journey's been long and winding, with an early route to be found in acting which was a perfect alignment at that age and juncture, with a ton of work between those early days and now. Not only do we have a pre-Bob role in Barbie to look into, we get to hear all about playing the role as Bob Marley, and the weight of such a role is not lost on him for a second. From meeting the family and friends to being party to the original demos, and the history of the band, and so much more. It sounds like a wild film to be at the front of.
