Kornhub brand ambassador Kira Newar. She's been on the show before but this

past January Kira won the AVN female performer of the year award which is

arguably the biggest athlete possible in our industry. So we had her on the

podcast to talk about that and life and relationships, feelings, and sex. So I hope

porn, right? Yeah. So first of all, congratulations. Thank you so much. To anyone that

doesn't know, Kira Newar just won AVN's female performer of the year, which is, I guess

maybe I'll just explain. I'm pretty sure everyone knows, but AVN is I think like the

longest running award show in the porn industry. It's often referred to as the Oscars

of porn and it airs on showtime every year. So like I think until recently, it was kind

of the most like well-known, I guess mainstream aspect of our industry in some ways. Like

back when I joined porn, it was like one of the only things I knew about the business.

And female performer of the year is arguably the biggest award of the ceremony. And obviously

like male performer of the year is also like the counterpart to that. And it's also the

biggest award of the night. But I would say that like the one, the award people really

want to know coming out of the show is like who won AVN female performer of the year. And

it was you. It's not how it's feeling about it. I am really, really surprised. I was drunk
