I'm feeling all pissed off and hurt.

Said I just bought a new motorized bicycle and I don't need my old one

any longer. And my old bike's still nice. It was about $800 when I bought it new five years ago.

Well, my brother-in-law, when I got the new bike, said, yeah, how about I give you 50 bucks and

take that old bike off your hands?

But if I took the thing to Facebook Marketplace, I could make a ton more money than just 50 bucks.

But now his wife, my sister, is telling me that her husband deserves the family discount and thinks I should just give him the bike for free.

So what is the appropriate thing to do? Am I a jerk if I expect

him to pay something close to what I could get on Facebook Marketplace for it?

First of all, I think you're a jerk to ever offer 50 bucks and give me your bike. That's

kind of a jerky thing to offer up. I think he thought he was offering him a favor.

wanted you to ride it. No, just because you, imagine I went over to Virginia's house and I knew

she's getting rid of that jet ski, that Magnolia loved. I go, you know what, I'll take it off

your hands, Virginia, for 50 bucks. Your sister is insane. First of all, she's on her husband's side, and they both think you should give him the bike for 50 bucks.
