And this week, as Labor prepares to mark 100 days in office, we look at how these first few months

have gone, what Labour managed to achieve back in power, some of the missteps, the briefings and

rouse that led to this week's reset in Downing Street and the ousting of Sue Gray, and what the government will do in the coming

days to try and move things forward with a budget and a spending review at the end of this month.

With me to discuss all that and more, I'm delighted to say I have Lucy Rigby, the new Labour MP

for Northampton North, Tim Durant, program director at the think tank, the Institute for Government, as well as Emma Dean, managing director of Portland Communications and a former special advisor in Downing Street and in government

departments. Later on on the show, we'll have some exclusive polling on how the public

have viewed these first 100 days, which I'll be discussing with Ben Shimson, co-founder and CEO of

Thinks Insight and Strategy, and spoiler alert, it's not that great. We'll start with you, Lucy, then 100 days in office, 100 days since you became an MP.

Talk us to how you've kind of found these first few months, basically.

It's been tiring.

It's been tiring.

My feet are very firmly now under the desk.

I think, as you'd expect, is a bit of a whirlwind at first.

Yeah.

You stay up for that sort of, it's a kind of 72 hour period, straight after the election,

then you're coming pretty much straight down to Parliament and having your induction

taking an awful lot of new information. And of course, there were so many of us doing it,

so many new Labour MPs this time around. But no, as I said, feet firmly under the desk now,

offices set up. Yeah, we're beginning the process of change.

So you've seen plenty of things going through Parliament, plenty of things being debated.
