hey pause up lindsayed mayhem for the times and i think you guys have slightly different approaches

to thinking about this album and also how you feel about it. But I want to start by having you each

talk me through the roller coaster of your personal and professional relationship with Lady Gaga

for the last 15 years or so. Karen, why don't you start? Okay, I was going to offer for Lindsay to start.

I know. Karen, I feel like you're going to set the tone here because I think as you have

with many of your favorite pop stars, you have a conflicted up and down relationship with Lady Gaga.

I do.

I challenge because I love.

So Lady Gaga arrived in the late 2000s decade and a publicist OG, Jenny Boddy, was her publicist, at Interscope

records. And she kept inviting me to go see her artist, Lady Gaga, at places like Splash,

the now defunct gay bar. And I was like, I'm not going to go see something called Lady Gaga

at Splash. Crazy. So, of course, I never went. And then the album came out, the songs came out. And I was
