Probably the worst, yeah, the worst loss of the season for the Lakers.

Clutch defeat from the jaws of victory had everything they needed in order to win the game.

They were up five with about 12 seconds to play, gave up a 6-0 run in about five seconds or so,

back-to-back threes, fumbled the inbound pass after the Bulls hit a three coming out of the timeout.

Immediately the Bulls hit another three.

Then Austin Reeves hits a layup to look like to win the game after the

Lakers were down one, only for Josh Giddy to hit a half-court shot and beat the Lakers

at the buzzer.

I don't know what to say.

There was no excuse for what the Lakers just did out there, none whatsoever.

Huge mistake to a game that they had in hand and a huge mistake that will cost them in a big, big way in the standings.

Terrible opportunity that the Lakers just gave away.

What a meltdown.

This is a historic all-time late-game meltdown that we just saw from the Los Angeles Lakers.

Again, like I said, inexcusable stuff.

The Lakers should be ashamed, frankly, for what we just saw to close out this game.

And I'm sure they will like that sentiment in the postgame show.

Absolutely terrible, what we just saw from L.A.

On the night, they played fairly well.
