The Lakers, a rough one against the Golden State Warriors, can't get enough shots to drop,

can't get the stops when they needed them to, and ultimately drop this game, dropping them back into fourth in the Western Conference.

We'll take a look of what happened tonight for the Lakers and what went

wrong in this one. Joining me is Jeff Spiegel. You know him typically from Dodger Blue, but Jeff

appreciate you filling in over here at Lakers Nation tonight. Yeah, I was excited for LeBron

versus Steph. And unfortunately, LeBron versus Steph materialized, but the rest of the Lakers

didn't necessarily show up outside of Austin Reefs.

Yeah, it was just one of those nights where the big, it felt like the big momentum shots the Lakers just could not hit across the.

But whether it was Luca, Finney Smith, Gabe Vincent, the big shots, especially to punish this Warriors defense, the way they collapsed

into the paint. The Lakers, the last couple of games against Houston against Memphis, they really

were able to punish those teams by having their other guys knock down shots, couldn't get that

going in this one. So unfortunate loss for the Lakers again, drops them back into the four seat

and drops them exactly where the four seat and drops them exactly

where the NBA wants them in a spot where they would be in the four or five matchup against

Golden State in round one. You know that is what the NBA is dying to see in round one of the

playoffs. Yeah, absolutely. And look, tonight in many ways was a fairly entertaining game,

probably more so if you're a Warriors fan, but you could see that these teams would match up

well with one another and provide some excitement in the postseason. And I don't know about you,

Trevor, but as a Lakers fan, I still even coming out of this game, even though they lost,

I feel like I would like my chances in this matchup if we saw it in the seven game series. Jeff, I've got some people in the chat asking
