And we're back for another episode. Lauren is here to tell us all about her first couple weeks of school.

I feel like this has been a long and waited episode. You've been talking about going to USC for months now.

So we're here. We're going to give you the update. Lauren's going to give you the update today.

I feel like I'll be doing most of the question asking. It'll be like a little interview for you.

And you can tell us how everything's been going. Yes. What has your experience been over the first couple of weeks?

Has it been different than what you expected?

Why don't you say what your first impressions were based on what you expected before you went into it?

Ooh.

Okay, this is a good one.

I feel like I didn't really think that much about what USC specifically would be like before I went. I don't know.

I just have a tendency to focus on whatever's happening in front of me and not really think too far

into the future. But I think I definitely did have expectations for university. And for the most

part, it has been what I expected.

It's been nice having a lot of free time.

I think I did see that coming,

but all of my classes pretty much finished by like noon every day.

So I go to class, have lunch, and then I'm done for the day.

I've realized that I have a lot of newfound free time and have definitely had to figure out how to manage that time so that I don't waste the whole day and then get to like 7, 8 p.m. and realize I have all this work to do.

Right.

On the topic of work, I feel like one thing I didn't expect is that basically all of my work has just been reading.

You said that that's normal, though.
