Now on to today's message.

I got a lot of expectancy for where the Word of God is taking us tonight, so stay standing

for the reading of God's scripture here just for a moment.

We're going to be in Luke Chapter 5 if you want to follow along, otherwise it'll be

on the screens and I'll read it for us.

If you don't know this whole school year has just been devoted to the gospel of Luke,

more specifically, the Jesus that the gospel of Luke shows us.

There's nothing creative.

It's just the simplicity of a story at a time, a paragraph at a time, a verse at a time,

trying to receive what Luke says in the first paragraph he wants for you and that certainty.

He wants you to have certainty about who Jesus is and we believe together this school year

that the way we get certainty is only through clarity and that clarity only comes through

proximity.

We just want a close up view of the real Jesus.
