Hi, everybody.

I'm Jill Martin.

You may know me from The Today Show.

I was a sportscaster.

I've really popped up everywhere.

But today, my most important title is breast cancer survivor.

And this will be emotional for me for a variety of reasons which I'll get into.

But what an honor to be asked to do this.

I was actually booked on or about to be booked on Shannon's podcast before she passed. And we never

got to meet, but we have a mutual best friend in Leslie Sloan who worked with her. And so I feel like

I knew her. And I also feel like she's looking down and so proud that we're continuing her messaging right now.

So I feel that energy.

And so I hope you could feel that too.

So this, I was supposed to be with her.

And I, Shannon, hope I'm going to make you and your family proud by carrying on this podcast in a way that we will raise

awareness and for people listening who are going through treatment, who or survivors like me,

who are just sort of coming out of a fog.
