Kew was just an ordinary boy living an ordinary life on the planet Hebo.

Well, maybe he wasn't exactly ordinary.

His skin was orange like every other kid on hebo. He sang his hebo chance when the seven moons rose each morning just like everyone else.

But Q was different. Physically he was an imposing presence.

He weighed 300 new grands and 200 of those were in his head alone.

Kew's brain was so big that his head struggled to fit through doorways.

He sometimes teetered on his skinny legs when he walked.

Occasionally, if he were walking through a crowd, he'd knock people over.

He got dirty looks for it.

No one else on Heboe had a head so large.

They surmised he must have been part Vexin, but that planet was half

a galaxy away and neither of Q's parents showed any trace of a Vexin bloodline. No, Q's just different. Despite his enormous head giving him

unwanted attention, it did have its benefits. Such a spacious cranium could house spectacular computing power.

His brain was constantly calculating and analyzing the world around him.

To anyone else, the constant thought stream of calculations and theories would drive any

hebo kid mad but for Q it all made perfect sense.

His never-ending flow of thoughts wasn't chaos to him.

It was serenity and order.

There was just one problem.

Q could only communicate in questions.
