Hello, hello, everybody. Welcome to a mini episode of Flulently for today, off the back of Monday's

White Lotus Season 3 episode. We are going to be talking about Lisa. She plays MOOC in White Lotus,

which by the way, I watched the most recent episode. I think the next one is the finale for like

an hour and a half on Sunday. There's so many

plot lines that need to all be tied together. So I'm very, very excited for it. And a lot of people

say about Lisa, they're like, oh yeah, you in America might not know her, but over in Thailand,

or even South Korea, because she's part of the K-pop group Black Pink.

They're like, she's like Taylor Swift over there.

So a lot of people are saying, is she going to have a huge role in the finale

because she's just simply too famous to just be Mook, who's just hanging out,

being pretty at the resort?

So for today, we're going to dive into her and look a little bit into the Black Pink

K-pop group that she was a part of and kind of what goes into being a K-pop star, or as they

call them over there, an idol. So Lisa is a Thai rapper, singer, dancer, and now officially

actress. She was a member of the South Korean girl group Black Pink. It was a four-member group,

and we're going to get into them. In terms of how she got her start and how she joined Black Pink,

her start started quite early within the age of four. So that was when she enrolled in dance

classes at the age of four, which is wild to me because I have a niece

who is four years old. I cannot imagine doing choreography at the age of four, but whatever.

She started competing regularly, and she eventually joined this dance crew called Weez-A-Cool.

And in 2009, this 11-member dance crew entered an entertainment competition broadcast and they won the special team award.

Lisa also participated as a school representative in a singing contest called the Top Three Good Morals of Thailand.
