This is a sermon on how to listen to sermons. Psalm 19 is a great Psalm, and it can teach us a lot about what it means to listen to the Scripture be read and taught. How do we listen to the Scripture read and taught? We’re going to learn three things here: 1) we need a real word from God, 2) why we need that word, and 3) how to receive that word. This sermon was preached by Dr. Timothy Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on September 7, 2008. Series: Liturgy: What we do in Worship. Scripture: Psalm 19:1-14. 1:30.7	The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
1:36.0	The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart.
1:39.9	The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
1:44.4	The fear of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.
1:48.7	The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous.
1:54.4	They are more precious than gold than much pure gold.
1:59.0	They are sweeter than honey than honey from a comb.
