it's very convenient

it makes it easy to get to the hut

it is a cracking bridge though

that's the bridge across the Atlantic

that bridge is 225 years old

or thereabouts.

And so, there I was, early one morning, just about to get myself into a canoe under the bridge over the Atlantic,

which links mainland Scotland with the Isle of Seal and Argyle.

My companions were Peter McQueen, broadcaster, an author of a new book called The Art of

Hitting and his father, Graham.

The McQueen family have a self-built hut, not far from the spot, and it's only accessible

by water, and Peter had very kindly invited me to visit it.
