All right, Jeff. This is 2020, the year of global plagues, record-breaking wildfires, deep division in our country, unprecedented rioting and lawlessness, insane upside-down thinking, dangerous economic indicators, locus swarms on various continents, scary technological developments,

and all kinds of other crazy stuff going on. And not to mention, we got a sure-to-be unstable

U.S. election coming up at us. So all these things are on everyone's mind. We'll talk about a few

of those things in an upcoming episode. But I bring them up now to pose this all-important

question for today's watching believer. How can we live with hope and joy in the middle

of all this craziness? That is the $60,000 question. And fortunately for us, Todd, the Bible has

the answers. And here's what's so crazy. On top of everything else that you just mentioned, I had recently ordered a copy of Dr.

John Walver, is one of my professors in president of Dallas Seminary when I was there years ago.

And I ordered his book on the thousand-year reign of Christ.

And I was walking through my kitchen, and I saw this little glowing circle, which is the Alexa thing, right?

And I said, Alexa, what's my notification? And this is verbatim. This is what she said. I wish I had it on

audio. She goes, the millennial kingdom has arrived. Oh, man. And I just burst in laughing. I thought, what a minute here? On top of

everything else? Now we're in the millennial kingdom here? Yeah. What's going on? Apparently,

we missed a few things. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Apparently she's an Ah, Mill person. She believes that we're living

in the millennial kingdom right now but uh go figure

alexa being like that but uh but yeah you're absolutely right and i think what people are looking

for right now and i know that people that are emailing us todd that that are contacting me on social

media it's almost like so many questions are coming in right now we're just trying to play catch up

uh and getting to all these things.

But I think it's raising awareness of the fact that we're living in very perilous times,

very troubling times, very challenging times, but also confusing times.
