Well, Maureen, the point about our country is that we should never,

and I say this very often,

we should never be in any way led by our politicians.

You know, we have pride in our country because we're British, because we love our

country, because we love Britain. We don't love the politicians that run it. They're like football

managers. We give them permission to sort of manage the country for a period of time, and then

we vote them out. And then the next lot come in, but the remains of the country remain the

same. If you're a Manchester United fan right now,

you're thinking, when is this awful, awful nightmare going to end? You know, this team can't seem

to win anything. They used to be a colossus. They used to be the biggest and one of the best

football clubs in the entire world. They're now suffering. But you don't take it out on the club.

You still love the club.

And that's how I feel about Britain.

Britain is still an incredible country, full of incredible people, regardless of who's running it,

and regardless of the politicians.
